A B Tiffee Jr., 81, of Amarillo died Wednesday, February 12, 2014.
Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, February 17, at Temple Baptist Church with Pastor Chad Mantooth officiating. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St.
A B was born May 17th, 1932, in Wolfe City, TX, the sixth of seven children born to A B and Beulah Tiffee Sr. A B married Betty J Williams on Jan 31st, 1953, just recently celebrating their 61st anniversary. He served his country in the Korean War and was a loving husband and father. A B was a well-respected member of the community and had positive impacts on everyone he touched. His legacy will live on in the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother; a daughter and son, Pamela Kathline (infant daughter) and A B Tiffee III; four brothers and sisters, James “Pete” Tiffee, Dora Mae Locke, William B Tiffee and Pauline Tigue.
Survivors include his wife; daughter-in-law, Carol Tiffee King and husband Larry King of Allen; a grandson, A B Tiffee IV and wife Elisa of Plano; and great-grandchildren, Landon, Spencer and Alexis; two sisters, Marie Ramsey and Emma Louise Stanton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends on Sunday, February 16th from 3:00 – 4:00 pm at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be to Temple Baptist Church, 3208 S Van Buren, Amarillo, TX 79109.
