Mr. Park was born in Denison, Texas to Amos and Alma Park on December 25, 1923.He proudly served in the United States Army during WWII. Known to be proud and sometimes brutally honest, he was a hard worker and fun loving man. He owned and operated P& M body Shop for over sixty years. He devoted his life to his business and his family. He enjoyed the outdoors especially hunting and motorcycling. In his younger years he owned and operated a domino hall in Amarillo. A.L. was loved tremendously by all that knew him and will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his wife Lavetta on January 21, 2002.A.L. is survived by two nieces, Sandra Briggs and husband Frank Briggs of Dayton, NV and Thomasine Beebe of Rogers, Arkansas; two nephews Wes E. Park of Las Vegas, NV and Michael Metheny of Huntsville, Alabama; a great nephew , Jesse Culwell; his loyal friend and employee, Thad Hollingsworth of Amarillo; his special friend, Janet Abbott of Canyon, TX; and good friend Dan Fisher of Amarillo, TX;
