Alan Utsey

Alan Utsey, 68, of Amarillo passed away March 27, 2021.

Memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 1, 2021 at Second Baptist Church, 419 N. Buchanan St. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home.

Alan served 4 years in the United States Airforce. He was stationed in Biloxi, MS for 1 year and 3 in Berlin Germany. He retired from Pantex after 35 years in 2017. Alan loved to take his boat out and fish with his 2 boys and his best friend. He also loved traveling to the Gulf to see his boys and grandchildren. As far as a Cowboys Fan, he would be one of the biggest you ever met.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Alan is survived by his wife, Gail; sister, Linda and husband, Shelton; brother, Barry and wife, Eula all of Amarillo; sons, Gary and wife, Brettanny and Jeremy and wife, Alison of League City, TX; 3 step-children, Zac and wife, Syxx of Albuquerque, NM, Eric and wife, Tanya or Lubbock, TX and Kelly of Amarillo, TX; 15 grandchildren, Colton, Raina, Jordan, Colby, Nathan, Kamy, Logan, Eryka, Eric, Gaby, Taylor, Jace, Ellie, Noah and baby Hunter; and many nieces and nephews.

Alan will be deeply missed and loved by all his family and friends.
