Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, in Schooler Funeral Home’s Brentwood Chapel with Pastor John Love of Trinity Fellowship officiating. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 South Georgia.
Amelia passed from her earthly home to her heavenly home January 3, surrounded by her family.
She was born October 13, 1949 in Amarillo to Roy V. and Winnie Brooks. Amelia graduated from Keith’s Metro Hair Academy and made many lifelong friends as a hairstylist for over thirty years. She dedicated her life to her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include one daughter, Michelle Brooks McCool and husband, Mark; and her son, Joshua Charles McCauley; three grandchildren, LeAnna, Kirsten, and Joshua, two great-grandchildren, Nevaeh and Braylon; one sister, Deborah Campbell; one niece, Crystal, all of Amarillo.
