Annie Mable Scogin, 89, of Amarillo, Texas died Tuesday, April 26, 2016.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 :00 p.m. Monday, May 2, 2016 at Second Baptist Church, 419 N. Buchanan, Amarillo, with Pastor Wayne Griffin officiating. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia.
Annie was born March 26, 1927 in Pea Ridge, AR to Teddy and Foster McDaniel. She married Oliver Ray Scogin in 1943. She helped open the Baptist Hospital and volunteered at various senior citizen centers. She was an active member at Second Baptist since 1951.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one infant boy; seven sisters; and seven brothers.
Survivors include five sisters; her niece, Sylvia Boyd; and several nieces and nephews.
