Antoinette "Toni" Joan Quirk

September 14, 1937 — February 6, 2019

Antoinette “Toni” Joan Weinheimer Quirk, cherished wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and great-grandmother entered eternity on February 6, 2019.

Rosary will be said at 6:00 p.m., Sunday, February 10, 2019 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 4100 S. Coulter. A celebration of life will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, February 11, 2019 at the church with Father John Valdez as celebrant. Burial will follow in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home.

Toni was born on September 14, 1937 in Fredericksburg, TX to Albert and Theresa Weinheimer. She graduated from Groom High School and married Jack Michael Quirk on June 17, 1958. Together, they were married 21 years before his passing in 1979.

Her legacy and compassion continued with her raising three children with great strength, compassion, charm, style, faith and stability in Amarillo. Her great strength, confidence and character came from her parents; her brothers and sisters; her children and grandchildren. Her generosity, beliefs, kindness, pride, humor and political commentary will be cherished and greatly missed. She was a devoted mother, sister and grandmother who loved spending time with her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband; infant son, David Anthony; parents; two sisters, Kathleen Dickey and Eugenia Byard; and son, Jack Michael Quirk, Jr.

Toni is survived by two children, Bryan Quirk and wife Dena and Julie Quirk Wright and husband Terry. Grandchildren, Brady, Halee, Jessica, Cameron and wife, Sarah, Nicole and husband, Jody, J. Michael, III and wife, Erica, and Christopher and wife, Beth. Great-grandchildren, Colton, Kinsley, Brecken, Jayden, Riley, Beau, Kaylee and Jack; two brothers, James Weinheimer of Groom and Patrick Weinheimer, Sr. and wife Maggie of Amarillo; sister, Theresa Swiger and husband Phillip of Bedford; numerous nieces and nephews; and honorable family members, Lendon, Gena, Sadie and Madie Ray.

The family suggest memorials be made to Downtown Women’s Center, 409 S. Monroe St., Amarillo TX 79101 or The Evelyn Rivers Project, 314 S. Jefferson St., Amarillo TX 79101.
