Sonny lived in Amarillo all of this life and owned and operated A.R. Conner Service Station for over 40 years. He touched countless lives with his kindness and giving nature. Sonny never met a stranger and would do anything he could for anyone who needed it. Sonny had many talents. He could fix anything that was broken and often loved working on anything he could find. He was known by many around town as "The Candy Man" because of his great talent at making fudge, cookies and countless other sweet treats. Sonny was also an avid fisherman, who always had a "Big Fish" story to tell anyone that would listen. Sonny loved animals, especially dogs and never met a dog that didn't like him. Most of all, Sonny loved his family. He was always there with a helping hand and a bag of groceries for anyone who needed it.
Sonny was a true warrior in his battle with cancer and has been rewarded the ultimate victory in heaven.
