Ashley Margaret Meagher, 23, of Amarillo died October 4, 2014.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, October 8, 2014 in The Church at Quail Creek with Pastor Kyle Clayton officiating. Interment will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 South Georgia.
Ashley was born August 20, 1991 to Robert Meagher, Jr., and Tonya Rene Goelzer. She graduated from Canyon High School and recently was attending Amarillo College. Through high school, she played both basketball and volleyball. Ashley enjoyed entertaining people. She worked for Hummer’s Sports Cafe for almost three years and also Bob Jay’s Plumbing for almost a year. She cherished her time spent with her son Jaxson going to the park and feeding the ducks and also enjoyed playing volleyball on her Monday night leagues.
She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Don Drummond and her cousin, Laura Serafini.
She is survived by her son, Jaxson Don Moore, her parents, Tonya Goelzer and husband Jeremy of Amarillo and Robert Meagher, Jr. of Florida, a sister, Abbey Meagher of Austin, her Grandmother, Fayma Drummond of Amarillo, and Grandfather, Robert Meagher, Sr. of Florida, her aunt, LaDon Serafini and husband Giorgio and their son Johnny of Austin, and many other aunts, uncles and cousins whom she loved and cherished.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 7:00 PM, Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at the funeral home.
The family suggests memorials be made to the college fund set up for Jaxson Don Moore at Amarillo National Bank.
