Barbara G. Perkins, 70, of Amarillo died September 25, 2014.
Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, September 27, 2014 at Memory Gardens Cemetery with Pastor Dale Bigham officiating. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 South Georgia.
Barbara was born August 7, 1944 to Elmo and Frankie Dungan in Sayre, OK.
She was a long time member of Quail Creek Baptist Church where she taught Awanas but most recently had become a member of Arden Road Baptist Church. Barbara enjoyed fishing and had a love for animals especially, dogs and horses. Before becoming ill she worked for Plains Chevrolet and was always on the go. Spending time with her family was a priority and her joy.
Barbara is preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her daughters Summer Perkins and Laci Shaw; her sons, Warren and Britt Perkins all of Amarillo, her sisters Donna Johnson of Mesquite, TX and Tammy Stephenson of Aurora, CO and four grandchildren.
Family will receive visitors from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., on Friday, September 26, 2014 at the funeral home.
