Beatrice L. Vasek

Beatrice Lorene Vasek passed away Friday, June 22nd, 2018, at the age of 86 after a lengthy illness. She was a resident at Bivins Care Center where she received the highest level of care and respect.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 29, 2018 at Schooler Funeral Home Brentwood Chapel, 4100 S. Georgia St. Burial will be Monday, July 2, 2018 in Ocker Brethren Cemetery in Temple, TX. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home.

She was the epitome of motherhood to her two surviving children, Carol Sue DeLaRosa of Lubbock, TX and Ronald Ed Vasek of Amarillo, TX.

Her dedication to the United States Government included jobs with the Soil Conservation Service, the IRS, the Social Security Administration, and the Railroad Retirement Board. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin John Vasek in 2005 and a Granddaughter, Michelle Marie DeLaRosa in 2008.

Survivors include her son-in-law, Juan Jose DeLaRosa, a great son-in-law, Mark Olmos, a granddaughter, Bambi Lynn DeLaRosa, and 5 great grand-children, Zeta and Zethan Rodriguez, Zion Herrera, and Londen and Ella Olmos.
