Benjamin Gonzalo Pacheco, age 39, of Plainview died on December 26, 2022 in Amarillo, Texas.
He was born on July 24, 1983 to his parents, Fernando Pacheco and Sylvia Muniz in Camp Pendleton, California. Benjamin was known for his excellent humor, and he was always laughing.
Benjamin was an avid Cowboys fan, who also enjoyed music and playing poker. He had a passion for food and from an early age he wanted to be a chef and graduated from the Arizona Culinary Institute. Before coming to Amarillo, he was also an Executive Chef in San Antonio at Briggs Ranch, as well as the Marriott in El Paso. Upon moving to Amarillo he was Executive Chef at the Amarillo Club. About the only thing he was more passionate about was his family, especially his two precious daughters.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Gonzalo Pacheco and Alicia Pacheco; uncles, Javier Muniz, Gonzalo Pacheco Jr., and Lorenzo Pacheco.
Benjamin is survived by his daughters Lailone Nicole Pacheco of California and her loving mother Rocio Daya and Reyna Annalise Pacheco and her loving mother Christina Hunter of Amarillo; his loving girlfriend, Sonia Gonzales of Plainview; his parents, Fernando Pacheco of El Paso and Sylvia Muniz of San Antonio; two sisters Valerie Veronica Arce of San Antonio and Araceli Pacheco of El Paso; five brothers, Richard Pacheco, Steven Muniz, David Williams, Eric Williams, and Isiah Williams all of San Antonio; and his grandparents, Benjamin and Marina Muniz of El Paso.
