Benny R. Fults, 86, of Amarillo died January 10, 2021.
Graveside Services will be at 1:00 pm, Saturday, January 16, 2021 in Memorial Park Cemetery. Benny will be available for viewing from 9:00 am – 11:30 am, Saturday, at the funeral home. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 South Georgia.
Benny was born January 24, 1934 to Romie and Inez Fults in Ladonia, TX. He loved fishing, farming, and boating. Benny served in the US Army as a Specialist 3rd Class. A dog lover deluxe, Benny was kind hearted, honest, and displayed the utmost integrity. Benny worked for 23 years in Prudhoe Bay, Alaska in the oil field pipeline where he retired in 2004. He took his vows to heart, spending 53 years with his beloved wife, Betty. He wouldn’t let anyone else take care of her, even in her final days. He truly passed from a broken heart.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, Betty.
Benny is survived by his daughters, Gaila Crider and husband, Richard, and Tonya Marwardt and husband, Larry VanMersBergen, his sons, Alvin Fults and wife Becky, and Rodney Fults, his siblings, Tom Fults, Bell Vinson, Mary Miller, and Harold Fults, and seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
