Benny Bruce Sadler, 58 of Amarillo died January 4, 2013.
Funeral Service will be at 11:00 AM, Monday, January 7, 2013 in Church at Quail Creek with Jon Watson of Caprock Baptist Church and Rev. Dale Moreland officiating. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 South Georgia.
Benny Bruce Sadler was born March 5, 1954 to Eugene and Carolyn Sadler in Dumas, Texas. Benny accepted Christ while in grade school. Benny attended Stratford schools all twelve years. After his high school graduation, he attended United Electronic Institute in Dallas. Benny was employed by Diamond Shamrock near Dumas; he transferred to Diamond Shamrock in Amarillo. Later, Benny went to work for NuStar. Benny was a Corrosion Pipeline Inspector. His passion was the game of golf and represented his company in several tournaments. He also enjoyed playing in Ruidoso, NM. Benny was a member of the Lion’s Club, the Elk’s Lodge, and the Coor’s Cowboy Club.
Benny was preceded in death by his grandparents, Hazel and Jim Webb, and Ethel Mae and Daniel Sadler.
Survivors include his son, Derric Sadler and wife Emily of Amarillo, a sister, Linda Husmann and husband Danny of Albany, TX, a brother, Carroll Sadler and wife Lety of Stratford, Parents, Eugene and Carolyn Sadler of Amarillo, a grandson, Steven, and a host of caring friends and family.
