Betty Gene Beavers of Amarillo, died Friday March 6, 2015.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 pm, Monday March 9, 2015 at Pinnacle Community Church with Pastor Justin Roberts officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia, Amarillo.
Betty was born in Dallas on December 12, 1931 to George R. and Gertrude Fox. She married Billy Beavers in Fort Worth in 1953. They moved to Amarillo in 1958 and became members of Trinity United Methodist Church and she had been a member ever since.
She was a homemaker for years and later became a real estate broker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and her son, Paul R. Beavers.
She is survived by her son David Beavers and wife, Kelly of Amarillo; her grandchildren, Brent Beavers, Leslie Wagner, Amy Flores and husband, Phillip, Gary Beavers and wife, Kasey, Daniel Beavers and wife, Angela, all of Amarillo, Aaron Wagner and wife, Melissa of Houston; and 12 great grandchildren.
