Betty Ann Buhr

Betty was born February 14, 1939 in Chicago to Donald and Anna Brooks. She met Bruce Buhr in Illinois and they married in August of 1969. They lived in Florida and Colorado before moving to Amarillo in 1992. Betty and Bruce enjoyed traveling and crafting. She was the “best cook in Texas”. Betty and Bruce managed the Downtown Women’s Center for fourteen years before retiring in 2006.
She is survived by her husband Bruce; two daughters, Christina Kidd and Michelle Revette, both of Canyon; two sons, Daniel Fujiwara of Shreveport, LA and Donald Buhr of Winter Haven, FL; twelve grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
