Betty Ann Baggerman-Kotara, 74, of Panhandle died June 10, 2022.
The rosary will be recited 10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 23, 2022 at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 125 Little Flower Way, Panhandle, TX. Funeral mass will follow at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in White Deer Cemetery. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home.
Betty was born December 14, 1947 in Groom, TX to Johnny and Louis Baggerman. She graduated from Pampa High School and was a faithful member of St. Theresa Catholic Church. Betty was an amazing woman despite the fact she endured many hardships throughout her life. She was strong, dignified, full of grit and determination. Betty bravely and gracefully fought her illness, as she lived for her grandchildren and always put her family first. She loved her co-workers at Amarillo Towing where she worked for over two decades. Betty enjoyed tending to her flowers and mowing her yard, being outside gave her a sense of peace.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Kotara; son, Samuel Kotara; brother, Larry Baggerman; her parents, Johnny and Louis Baggerman; and her furry companion, Sadie.
Betty is survived by two daughters, Courtney Reeder and her spouse Mark and Karen Kwiatkowski and her spouse Mike; a son, Lacy Kotara and his spouse Amber; and her grandchildren, Cash Reeder, Jack Kotara, Brooklyn Kotara, Levi Kotara, Emma Kotara, and Cutter Kotara.
The family suggests memorials be made to American Cancer Society, 3915 Bell St., Amarillo, TX 79109.
