Betty Schooler, age 77, died October 6, 2013 in Amarillo.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM at Schooler Funeral Home, Brentwood Chapel on Wednesday, October 9, 2013. The Pastor Curtis Redmond of Beacon Baptist Church will officiate. Interment will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home.
Betty was born on December 26, 1935 in Stamford, Texas to Claude and Henrietta Hill.
She married Don Schooler in Canyon, Texas; they were married for 53 years. The family was a member of Eastridge Baptist Church. Betty was a homemaker. She devoted her life to loving and supporting her family until her health prevented her from doing so.
The family would like to thank the staff at Vivian’s Nursing Home and BSA Hospice for the care they showed Betty and the entire family.
Betty is survived by her husband Don; her two daughters, Rhonda Simpson and her husband Doug of Edmond, OK and Lisa Beal and her husband Joel of Arlington, TX; her son, Rick Schooler and his wife, Melissa of Amarillo; her two sisters, Linda Neely of Hamlin, TX and Barbara Fought of Stamford, TX; her three brothers, Donnie Hill of Rhode Island, Mike Hill and Roy Hill both of Stamford, TX; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
The family suggests the memorials be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 1400 Wallace Blvd Amarillo, TX 79106
