Betty Jane Wright

Graveside will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at Llano East Cemetetery with Mr. George Hogland and Mr. Bill Gamel officiating. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 South Georgia.Betty was born on May 20, 1933 in Vernon, Texas to Ernest and Oma Curley. She was an active church member and loved to take care of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Betty loved to watch the Dallas Cowboys and cook the family her famous  roast dinner on Sunday every week. She was strong in mind and heart and always looked her best. She was loved by many and will be dearly missed.She is preceded in death by husband Thomas Wright; son Tommy Allen Wright; sister Morene Keeser; and parents Ernest and Oma Curley. She is survived by one daughter, Judy Morris of Moore Oklahoma; 2 sisters, Ernestine Mullins of Amarillo, Lois Green of Amarillo; one brother Kenneth Curley of Dallas; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to Disabled American Veterans, Chapter 26, P.O. Box 864 Amarillo, Tx 79105 and American Heart Association 2514 82nd St. , Lubbock, Tx 79423.
