Bettye Jane Bloch, 83, of Amarillo died Thursday, March 20, 2014
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, March 23, 2014 in Schooler Funeral Home Brentwood Chapel with Blake Clevenger of Hillside Christian Church officiating. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 South Georgia.
Jane was born in Sherman, Texas, June 19, 1930, to Gordon and Nell Pelley. Jane was a dedicated teacher for over 20 years. She taught in Texas, New Mexico, Germany and Korea. She loved children and was a gifted artist. Jane enjoyed gardening and flowers, shopping and most of all talking with friends! She dearly loved her surviving son Bill more than anything. Her friends and family will miss her very much.
Jane is preceded in death by her parents, husband Donald, a daughter Nancy Jean Bloch, a son Tommy Bloch, twin sister Jean Bay, her brothers William Pelley and Robert Pelley.
She is survived by, a son William Bloch of Amarillo, a grandson, Thomas Gaylean and many nieces, nephews and friends.
