BF Wilson, 91, of Amarillo died January 6, 2021.

Viewing will be from 11:00am – 8:00pm, Friday, January 8, 2021. Graveside service will be at 1:00pm, Saturday, January 9, 2021 at Memory Gardens Cemetery with Rev. Jim Shelburne officiating. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 South Georgia.

BF was born February 10, 1929 to Ben R. and Mary Wilson. In 1949, BF moved to Amarillo for a job at SPS where he worked for 47 years. He married Eva Fern Ballew on December 26, 1950. Mr. and Mrs. Wilson began going to church at Washington Avenue where they became members. BF served as an Elder, taught Sunday school, and loved his church. Mr. Wilson was known as a Godly man. His first love was his family, children, and grandchildren, his second love was the cabin in Eagle’ Nest. He loved mountains, fishing, hunting, and camping.

The family would like to say a special “Thank you” to High Plains Elder Care, Ruby Slippers, and special friend Judy Kennedy.

BF was preceded in death by his parents, wives, Eva and Verda, a brother, Ralph, and son, Carl Lee Wilson.

He is survived by his children, Ben Wilson and wife Tara, and Sharol Finley and husband Todd, 8 Grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.

Family suggests memorials be made to Washington Avenue Christian Church.
