Billie Jean Bible passed away, June 8, 2015, in Amarillo.
Graveside Services will be 11:00 am, Thursday, June 11, 2015, at Alanreed Cemetery in Alanreed, Texas. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia.
Billie Jean was born April 20, 1929, in Lindsay to Eugene and Gladys Bolin. She married her beloved husband Clovis Bible, September 6, 1946 in Clarendon. She worked in the bra factory in McLean before retiring and was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.
Billie is preceded in death by her husband; a son, Clovis Gene Bible; and three brothers, James, Wendell, and Tommy Bolin.
She is survived by two sons, Terry Bible of Amarillo, and Garry Bible and wife, Barbara, of Decatur; five grandchildren, Christy Bible, of Amarillo, Bradley Bible of Louisiana, Paul Bible and wife Stephanie, Jeff Bible, Julie Bible, all of Decatur; five great grandchildren; two sisters, Pat Chisum of Canadian, Joann Cumbie and husband, Wendall of Amarillo; two brothers, Trent Bolin and wife Willa, of Amarillo and Ronnie Bolin and wife, Marilyn of Newalla, OK; and numerous nieces and nephews.
