VISITATION:  Visitation will be Sunday, December 6, 2009 from 5-6 p.m. at Schooler Funeral Home, Brentwood Chapel, 4100 S Georgia, Amarillo, TxSERVICE:  Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. at St Paul United Methodist Church on December 7, 2009 with Rev. Perry Hunsaker officiating.  Arrangements by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S Georgia St, Amarillo, Tx .  Burial will be at Llano Cemetery, Amarillo, Tx.BIOGRAPHY:  Bill was born on October 23, 1931.  He attended Amarillo High School and Texas Tech graduating in 1954 with an Engineering degree.  After graduating from college he went to Ft Bragg, N.C. and served 2 years in the 82nd Airborne.  While he was in the service he met Ruth at the officers club in 1956.   They married September 21, 1957 in Clinton, N.C.  He was an avid golfer.  He was also a Division Manager at Pantex and retired in 1997 after 40 years.  He is loved by his family, friends and co-workers.  He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Mary Cox; and brother, Lloyd “Sonny” Colvin.SURVIVORS:  He is survived by his wife, Ruth; daughter, Pat Kittley and husband Dave of Rule, Tx; nieces and nephews, Jimmie Bradshaw, Virginia Wheat, Susan Hayes, Karol Cargill, Kevin Cox, Kerry Cox, Sharon Robinson; 2 grandchildren, Tre Ann Krupnick and husband Matt of Hutto, Tx, Dave Kittley III of Rule, Tx; Great Grandchild, Cooper Krupnick of Hutto, Tx.MEMORIALS:  In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to The Ryan Palmer Foundation, P. O. Box 32271, Amarillo, Tx, 79120.
