Billy Kelley

Billy Kelley, 85, of Amarillo died January 15, 2020.

Billy was born August 2, 1934 in Childress, TX to Howard and Ruby Kelley. He and his father ran a dry cleaning service in Childress. He then worked for Goodwill Industries and won the “Employee of the Year” Award while there. Billy retired from Goodwill after many years of service. He had a beautiful bass voice and loved to sing. A special song he sang was “His Eye Is On The Sparrow”.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Dean Kelley; Patsy Kelley; and Darrell Kelley.

Billy is survived by sister, Jackie Tarter of Kentucky; sister in law, caregiver and best friend Judy Kelley of Amarillo; and additional nieces and nephews who contributed to Billy’s welfare.
