Billy Wayne Meroney

Billy Wayne Meroney age 36 died October 13, 2010 in Stratford Texas.FUNERAL SERVICES  will be held 10:00AM on October 18,  2010 at New Life Church  in Amarillo Texas, 406 S. Pittsburg. Pastor Spike Maldonado will officiate.Interment will be at  Panhandle Cemetery Panhandle, Texas. The family will receive visitors October 17, 2010 from 2:00PM-3:00PM at Schooler Funeral Home. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home 4100 S. Georgia Amarillo, Texas.Billy was born October 12, 1974  in Amarillo Texas, to Lloyd and Brenda Meroney. He worked for the City of Stratford. Billy had a passion for working on his Dodge Daytona and Lincoln Mark VIII. He loved to configure and use complicated stereo systems. Most of all, he loved being a father to Samantha and Jasmine.  He loved his music and would help with the sound system at church. Billy would do any work he could find at Church and they say his thumb print is still there. Billy enjoyed fishing when he had the opportunity. He also had a passion to help children with special needs. Billy is preceded in death by Gene Bradshaw, A.C and Noema Meroney.Billy is survived by his parents Lloyd and Brenda Meroney of Stratford; Girl friend Veronica  Mota and her children Samantha, and Jasmine.  Brother Jacob Meroney and wife Megan of Amarillo; Sister Jessica Hernandez and husband Daniel of Stratford; Niece Kylee Hernandez of Stratford.
