Memorial services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, January 2nd, at St. Paul United Methodist Church. Rev. Perry Hunsaker and Rev. Curtis Cadenhead, will officiate. Private burial was held at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 South Georgia.Billy Reed Peacher, son of Ethelyne and Forrest Peacher, was born in Indian Mound, Tennessee, on October 24, 1932. On December 29, 2009, the Lord called him home to be reunited with his wife Polly and daughter Suzanne. He graduated from Austin Peay University in Clarksville, TN. He worked as an engineer for Pantex in Amarillo. Billy loved spending time with his children and grand children and had fond memories of times in Tennessee. He enjoyed making trips back to visit family there. His friends and family describe him as gentle, soft-spoken, and kind with an unexpectedly opportune sense of humor. He had a church family at St. Paul United Methodist where he was a member for more than 40 years. All of his friends from the Friendship Bible Class were like a family to Billy and Polly. He will be dearly missed but close to the hearts of all of those who loved him so. He is preceded in death by wife, Polly and daughter, Suzanne. He is survived by his daughters Janet “Peaches” Homen and husband Donny of Amarillo, Jennifer Peacher DeLuca and husband Graham of Dallas, along with grandchildren Grant, Chase and Halley Homen, Robert Benjamin Glenn IV and Elizabeth Ann Glenn, Porter and Ellis DeLuca. …“Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man.
