Bobbie Marie Hedrick

Bobbie Marie Hedrick, age 93, of Amarillo, entered the gates of Heaven on September 6, 2023 in Amarillo.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2023, at 10:00 AM at Memorial Park Cemetery.  Pastor Randy Davis will officiate.

Bobbie was born on May 28, 1930, in the Rock House in Crosbyton, Texas.  She is the daughter of Frank and Marie Smith and the great-granddaughter of Hank Smith.

She married Glen J. Hedrick on January 25, 1947 in Amarillo.  In addition to being a mother and wife, she was co-owner of Truck City USA and Hedrick Motors.  She worked as the office manager and title clerk in the family business.

Bobbie was very involved in LifeWay Fellowship and, before that, Olsen Park Baptist Church as it was known.  She was a godly and kind woman who loved her family and friends dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, six siblings, her husband, Glen J., and a son, Glenn Wayne.

Bobbie is survived by her son Ron Hedrick and his wife Ann of Amarillo; three grandchildren, Clayton and his wife Carol, Bailey and his wife Melinda, and Tanner and his wife Kendra; and seven great-grandchildren, Colton, Ashlyn, Hunter, Hailey, Halle, Maximus, and Daxston.
