Bobbie “Bob” Bellamy, 77, of Amarillo died Thursday, June 16, 2016.
Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 18, 2016 at Schooler Funeral Home Brentwood Chapel with Rev. Dan Byler officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia.
Bob was born on July 22, 1938 in Amarillo to Robert and Callie Bellamy. He graduated from Amarillo High in 1957. He married Jerry Louise Powell on April 3, 1965 in Amarillo and was a member of Trinity Fellowship Church North. Bob was an avid fan of NASCAR, Texas Longhorns, Dallas Cowboys, and Texas Rangers and was also a rodeo fan. He also helped show horses and livestock. Bob was a loving husband, Dad and Papaw.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife; his daughters, Tisha Dominguez and husband, Johnny and Amanda Bellamy, all of Amarillo; three sisters, Helen Porter, Frankie Womack, both of Amarillo and Carol Card of Denver, CO; three brothers, Dick Bellamy of Amarillo, Matt Bellamy of Lubbock, and Roger Bellamy of Midland; two grandchildren, Ashley Bellamy and Zak Dominguez; and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews; and eight granddogs.
The family suggest memorials be made to the American Diabetes Association, 1701 North Beauregard St, Alexandria, VA and American Heart Association, National Center, 7272 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX. 75231.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM today at the funeral home.
