Carl Leroy Tyrrell, age 91 died March 24, 2016.
Funeral Services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at Schooler Funeral Home, Brentwood Chapel, with Larry Dunlap officiating. Burial will be 3:30 Tuesday, March 29, 2016 in Fargo Cemetery, Fargo, OK. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 South Georgia.
Carl was born December 5, 1924 in Fargo, Oklahoma to George Henry and Laura Pearl Moran Tyrell. Carl enlisted in the US Army on June 10, 1942 and served until 1946. He married Mary Elizabeth Weis on July 21, 1944; she preceded him in death on August 25, 1997. He married Joyce Marie Phillips on June 5, 1998 in Amarillo. He was employed by Wiley Hicks Construction as a carpenter. He was also a member of the Carpenters Local 665 and Valleyview Church of the Nazarene.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife; a brother, Bill Tyrell; a son, Scotty Leroy Tyrell and a step son, Jeffrey Charles Dorman
Carl is survived by his wife; one daughter, Diana Kaye Williams and husband, Jim of OKC, OK ; two granddaughters, Lisa Rashelle Carr of Edmond, OK and Lori Amber Williams McCormack of San Francisco, CA; a grandson, James Ryan Williams of OKC, OK; one brother, Leo Wayne Tyrrell of Pampa; two step-daughters, Rhonda Cooper of Amarillo and Becky Tolbert of Littleton, CO; and his step grandchildren, Carrie Wills, Lee Tolbert, Kevin Tolbert, Lisa Tolbert, Patrick Dorman and Gavin Dorman.
Family will receive friends from 6:00-7:00 Monday, March 28, 2016 at the funeral home.
