Carmen was born in Los Fresnos, Texas to Agustin and Guadalupe (Morales) Ramos. Carmen was a vibrant personality whose light shined bright in every room she entered. She loved to smile and was just a genuinely happy person. She was faithfully devoted to her family and loved to share many laughs with them. Her laugh was infectious and you couldn’t help but laugh along with her. Carmen spent many hours spoiling her grandchildren while their parents worked. But as soon as they got off, it was time for them to go home.
Carmen spent her spare time knitting and sewing, and she loved to dance and listen to some good music. Her spirit was that of true happiness.
Carmen is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Jose Rios, and sons, Joe and Lupe Rios. Those left to cherish her memories are her daughters, Anna Martinez and husband Rogelio, Teresa Flores-Rios, Maria Sanchez, Monica Guerrero and husband Jose, and Veronica Lopez and husband Alberto, sons, Sipriano “Jimmy” Rios and wife Oty, Noah “Pancho” Rios, and Moses Rios and Christina. Carmen also leaves her beloved 25 grandchildren, 33, great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren, and many cherished friends and extended family.
