Caroline Sue Bell, age 96 of Amarillo, died January 7, 2015 in Amarillo.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday January 14, 2015 at First Presbyterian Church Chapel. Dr. Murray Gossett will officiate. A private interment was held at Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 South Georgia, Amarillo, TX.
Caroline was born on July 4th, 1918 in Oklahoma City. She married Jack Bell, who owned Jack’s Pill Box. Caroline delighted in her family and was an active member of First Presbyterian Church where she taught Sunday school. She also volunteered at the Art Museum.
Caroline was fond of traveling and was fortunate enough to continue to travel after the death of Jack with family members. She was fortunate enough to travel on cruises to Hawaii, the Caribbean, Alaska and Panama. Caroline journeyed to Italy when she was eighty years old. In addition to her love of travel she also enjoyed playing bridge.
Caroline was preceded in death by her husband Jack Bell in 1985 and a son John Bell.
Survivors include her daughter Wanda Edwards and husband Norman of Pensacola, FL., a sister Harriot Krueger of Oklahoma City, OK. a brother Wendell Chantry of Arlington, TX., and her kitty Lucky.
