Celia Ann Dietrich

Ann was born January 12, 1933 in Rushville, NE to William and Celia Kriegshauser. She graduated from St. Louis University in St. Louis, MO. She met Ed Dietrich and they married on February 7, 1959 in University City, MO. She and Ed lived in Amarillo since 1972.
Ann was a founding family member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. She was employed as an accountant for Bell Pest Control, Inc. for over 28 years. Ann had a constant companion, Herbert the dachshund, who never left her side for over eight years.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ed in March, 2009, her parents, her sister and brother-in-law Ila and Lloyd Tiensvold, and two grandsons, Christopher Blain Dietrich and Kory Lane Dietrich.
She is survived by her daughter Cynthia King of Amarillo; her son Kevin Dietrich and wife Kenda of Corpus Christi; her brother Bill Kriegshauser and wife Marilyn of Omaha, NE; one granddaughter Hailey Dietrich of Orlando, FL; her grandson Aaron King of Amarillo, and many loving friends and extended family members.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
The family would like to express their deep appreciation to BSA Hospice and Ware Living Center for the care and concern they showed to Ann.
