Charlene Longstreth Dunn, 89, passed away on May 3, 2015.
Graveside Services will be 1:00 PM, Today at Llano Cemetery Mausoleum with Joe Alonzo officiating. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia.
Charlene was born on August 22, 1925 to Ramey and Alice McAlister in Amarillo. She had one sister, Sharon. Charlene graduated from Amarillo High in 1942 and worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone for a brief time.
She was preceded in death by husbands, William Longstreth and Palmer Dunn and her son, Dennis Longstreth.
Charlene was a true homemaker with a huge and loving heart. She always placed her family above everything else, giving countless hours to the care of her loved ones during their illnesses.
The family would like to thank her caregivers, Claire Longstreth and Melissa Ciraulo as well as Hospice Care of the Southwest, especially Ashley Garza.
Survivors include a son, David and his wife Jeani, her daughter Cindy Woods and her husband Gary, granddaughters Christy Deaver, Meagan Boydstun and her husband, Shane, Macy Woods and Alicia Longstreth and 3 great grandchildren, Madison and Taryn Boydstun and William Longstreth.
