Charlene Lucille Flow

Charlene “Meme” Flow, 72, died Monday, April 22, 2013.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 26, 2013 at Schooler Funeral Home Brentwood Chapel.  Private family inurnment will be in Llano Cemetery.  Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 South Georgia.

Charlene was born to L.V. and Louise Thomas in Beaumont on September 23, 1940.  She attended Palo Duro High School.  Charlene married Floyd Flow June 25, 1980 in Vernon. Mrs. Flow worked as a long haul truck driver alongside her husband for Dwight Cheek and Robert Heath Trucking.  She enjoyed watching her grandkids and great grandkids play sports.  She loved playing games on her computer, watching John Wayne movies, and listening to Conway Twitty.  Charlene was an avid Randall Raider fan who enjoyed cooking team meals of southern fried chicken.  She was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.

Charlene was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a brother, L.V. Thomas Jr.; and a nephew, Heath Wright.

She is survived by a daughter, Tammie Bush and husband Steve of Amarillo; a son, Floyd Ray Flow and wife Susan of Amarillo; two sisters, Melba Glass and husband Dennis of Amarillo and Brenda Fox of Ft. Worth; a brother, Tony Thomas and wife Jan of Wyoming; five grandchildren, Lacey Shelton of Boston, Ma., Brandon Bush and wife Madie, Cory Flow and wife Mindi, Rikki Tucker and husband Tim and Stacy Flow all of Amarillo; a grandson-in-law, Jerrad Shelton; 11 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and a lifelong friend, Betty Weeks.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8:00 p.m., Thursday, April 25, 2013.
