Charles Hugo Hodkinson

Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 2, 2011 at Brentwood Chapel, Schooler Funeral Home. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S Georgia.
Charles was born on September 21, 1915 to Cyril and Clara Hodkinson in Sioux City, Iowa. He was a retired school custodian and was loved by the teachers and students of the school. He loved storytelling and was known as a jokester by family. Charles was proud of his lineage. He enjoyed traveling and loved to collect rocks and was known as a “rock hound.” He was also a solid man of faith and was dedicated to his church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Beulah and son Gerald.
He is survived by three daughters, Judy Boyles, Clara Knutson and Gayle Puopolo; eight grandchildren, Eddie Ceco, Sandy Ellison, Pamela Benjamin, Gerald Hodkinson, Jr., Karen Peyer, Kathy Marker, Larry Barnes, and Kimberly Alexander; and eleven great-grandchildren.
