With a heart full of love and a personality that could light up any room, Robert Chase Leven, 36, of Amarillo, Texas, passed away, leaving behind a legacy of laughter, kindness, and unforgettable memories. Reunited with his beloved mother, Dana Nicklaus, and his twin sisters, Hollie and Lauren, Chase is now in heaven, where his joy will undoubtedly fill the skies.
A celebration of Chase’s life will be held at St. Thomas on October 11th at 6 PM. Graveside service will be at llano cemetery at 10:00 on October 12th. Let’s carry forward his legacy by living with laughter, loving without limits, and always being there for one another—just as Chase did.
Born on November 21, 1987, to Neal Leven and Dana Nicklaus, Chase spent his childhood in Amarillo, Texas, Hot Springs, Arkansas, and El Paso, Texas. From the very start, it was clear that his spirit was larger than life. He lived boldly, loved deeply, and never missed an opportunity to make others smile. He was the kind of person who never just showed up to a party—he was the party. His mission? To fill every room with laughter and ensure that no one ever left without a smile.
Chase was more than just the life of the party; he had a heart that was as big as his humor. His family meant the world to him, and he always had their backs, no matter what. Whether you were his closest friend or a stranger in need, Chase was there—ready to lend a hand or share a laugh. His pure heart and generous spirit extended to everyone he met, and he had a special gift when it came to kids. They adored him, and he never missed a chance to be their biggest fan and funniest friend.
A man of many talents, Chase was not only a beloved son, brother, friend, and uncle but also a gifted artist, a dedicated realtor, and an expert in all things technology. He could just as easily sketch a masterpiece as he could fix a computer or find the perfect home for a client. His creativity and technical skills were matched only by his passion for life and the people he cared about.
Chase is preceded in death by his mother, Dana Nicklaus, and younger twin sisters.
Chase leaves behind a family who adored him, friends who cherished him, and a world that is a little dimmer without his light. He will be profoundly missed by his grandparents, Robert and Carolyn Ringo and Evelyn Leven; father and stepmother, Neal and Diane Leven; stepfather Mark Nicklaus, and his siblings, Bryan and Karina Leven, Brandi and Pete Moberley, Marketta and Tyler Blair, Steven and Bekah DuCharme, Mason and Hope Nicklaus, Ashley and Cody Marsh, Beau and Kendall Leven, Shannon DuCharme, and Blake and Emily Nicklaus. He will also be greatly missed by 11 nieces and nephews.
