Cheri Reinert

Cheri Reinert, 58, of Amarillo, passed away Thursday, September 20, 2018.

Memorial Service will be at 2:00 p.m., on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at Hillside Christian Church West Campus Chapel with Rev. Grant Hickman officiating. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home 4100 S. Georgia St.

Cheri was born on November 25, 1959 to Clinton and Jimmie Hyatt Glenn in Hereford. She graduated from Canyon High School in 1978 where she was a cheerleader and was voted class favorite. She continued cheerleading at West Texas State University where she earned Bachelor’s Degrees in Accounting & Finance. Cheri worked in the financial industry for many years. She was a great friend to many and had tons of friends. She was a wonderful grandmother and known as “Chi Chi” to her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, the love of her life, Ronald Reinert on May 29, 2015.

Cheri is survived by two sons, Mason Reinbold and wife Brittany, and Landon Reinbold all of Amarillo; a daughter, Rhoni Thompson and husband J. of Houston; her parents, Jimmie and Clinton Glenn of Canyon; a sister, Brenda Rusten and husband, Johnny of Lubbock; brother, Ross Glenn and wife, Stacy of Canyon; three grandchildren, Hunter Reinbold, Wallace Thompson and Blaire Reinbold.

The family suggests memorials be made to Humane Society 3501 S Osage St, Amarillo, TX 79118.
