Christopher Brent Moore

A memorial service will be held Friday August 20, 2010 at The Summit Church in Canyon, 2008 12th Street, Canyon Texas with Chaplain Sheryl Brown officiating. Arrangements by Schooler Funeral Home 4100 S. Georgia, Amarillo, Texas.Christopher Moore was born August 13, 1969 to H. Billie and Flora Jane Moore in Rantoul, Illinois. He had been employed at T-Miller trucking for almost two years.  Christopher loved to watch NASCAR and his favorite driver was Davie Allison. He was an avid OU fan. He enjoyed going to the river and was a member of POG. Christopher raced for many years at Route 66 Motor Speedway. He was well known in the area for his beautiful wood working abilities. He had also worked for H.D. Wrecker Company for a year and for Amarillo Winnelson for 17 years. Christopher loved spending time with his family and being a wood craftsman. His favorite thing to do was to be outdoors with his friends and family. Christopher was loved by many and will be dearly missed.      He is preceded in death by his father Bill Moore and sister Lynetta Joy Watson.He is survived by wife Lisa Moore , daughters Krista Bristow, Sarah Knox; sons Mark Knox, R.J. Knox; sisters Wendy Moore, Stephanie Liske; brothers Butch Moore, Billy Moore, Mike Moore; mom Jane Huggard; and grandchildren Isaac Nelson, and Avery Nelson. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be sent to BSA Hospice, P.O. Box 950, Amarillo, Texas 79107.
