Cynthia Ann Hall passed away peacefully on Sept. 22, 2018 after a long illness.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Kathryn Hayes.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas Hall of Amarillo, her brother, David Hayes of Half Moon Bay, California, the couple’s six children, April Hyduk of Tequesta, Florida, Melissa Shamblin of Amarillo, Ronald Hall of Allen, Texas, Jeff Hall of Amarillo, Christopher Hall of Estelline, and Christie Prado of Childress, and by 15 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Cynthia spent the majority of her life in Amarillo. She worked many years as a medical transcriptionist. She authored a regular humor column for several years in the Clarendon newspaper, and published various articles of inspiration in Guideposts magazine.
Funeral services were held at First Baptist Church chapel on Wednesday, Sept. 26 at 2:00 p.m. with Dr. Howard Batson officiating. Burial was in Llano Cemetery, near the place where Cynthia’s parents are also buried.
