C.L. Wieberg

C.L., one of fifteen children, was born on November 24, 1926 in Argyle, Missouri to Frank and Catherine Wieberg.  By way of custom harvests he made his way to Groom where he settled to raise his family.  He married Ludeen McAdams in 1951.  She preceded him in death in 1998.   C.L. was a dedicated and hard working man.   He was devoted to his family and served the Lord with all his heart. He was at his happiest when he and his boys were in the fields cutting wheat.  C.L. will be in state at Schooler Armstrong Chapel in Claude on Wednesday from 10:00 A.M. until 5:00 P.M.He was preceded in death by his parents, eight sisters and two brothers.C.L. is survived by his wife Delphine of Groom;  4 sons Nolan & wife Kari Wieberg of Lubbock, Nathan &  wife Sherri Wieberg of Groom, Neil &  wife Marihelen Wieberg of Keller, Aaron & wife Darcy Wieberg of Keller, 4 daughters, Anita & husband Fred Irby of Claude, Marie & husband Tom Wilkins of Plano, Janelle &  husband Randy Sustaire of Groom, and Lenora & husband Carey Brooker of Trinidad, Co. Three stepsons Bernard & wife Patti Tappel, Butch &  wife Chris Tappel, Patrick & wife Loraine Tappel,~ stepdaughters-Janie & husband Bill Niekamp, Darlene & husband Doug Norment, Grace & husband Dan Stevens, Marla &  husband Ted Suess, and Karen Tappel; one sister Marie Cox and three brothers, Robert, Alfred and Mike Wieberg.  He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 18 step grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, & 18 step great grandchildren.MEMORIALS should be made to the Groom Ambulance Fund
