Services Information: A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, June 2nd at the Craig Memorial Chapel.  Rev. Marty Hamrick of Polk Street United Methodist Church will be officiating.  Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 South Georgia.Mrs. Griggs was born in Plains, Kansas on September 19, 1913 to Elmore and Margaret Palmer.  She married Douglas A. Griggs on August 20, 1971 in Clovis, New Mexico.Mrs. Griggs was preceded in death by two sisters, Eunice Pool and Margaret Parmalee and two brothers Donald Palmer and Bud Palmer.SURVIVORS:Her husband Douglas of Amarillo; two sisters Edna Olinger, and Florence Herring; and two brothers, Dean Palmer and Wendall Palmer.Memorials: The Craig Methodist Retirement Employee Appreciation Fund, 5500 West 9th , Amarillo, Texas 79106 or the Polk Street United Methodist Church Building Fund, 1401 South Polk, Amarillo, Texas 79101
