Clay Morgan

Clayton ‘Clay’ Jerrell Morgan, 36, of Amarillo, passed away on January 9, 2018.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 15, 2018 at First Baptist Church, 1208 S. Tyler, with Dr. Howard K. Batson officiating. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery, 14200 IH-27 South. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia.
Clay was born on February 26, 1981 in Amarillo to Vicki Fuller and Darrell Morgan. He was a 1999 graduate of Amarillo High School. Clay was a very loving family man. He was vibrant and full of life. His smile lit up the room. He was very compassionate and caring towards others and it showed in his love to volunteer and help others. He was a member of First Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gaylon Darrell Morgan; and his paternal grandparents, Darrell Ray and Betty Jo Morgan.
Clay is survived by one son, Preston Morgan of Amarillo; his parents, Vicki and Steve Fuller of Amarillo; one sister, Torri Monk and husband Jerod of Dallas; one brother, Colten Morgan and wife Amanda of Amarillo; his maternal grandparents, Jerrell and Barbara Jones of Amarillo; two grandchildren, Clayton and Dillon Morgan; two nephews, Austin and Dace Morgan of Amarillo; and many cousins.
A visitation will be held from 3:00-4:00 p.m., Sunday, January 14, 2018 in Schooler Funeral Home’s Brentwood Chapel.
