Clifford D. Adams

Cliff D. Adams, age 58 of Amarillo died February 26, 2017 in Amarillo.

A rosary will be said on Monday, February 27th at 6:00 PM at Schooler Funeral Home, Brentwood Chapel.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday at 10:00 AM at St. Mary’s Cathedral, 1200 South Washington.  Rev. Scott Raef will celebrate.   Interment will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery.  Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 South Georgia.

Cliff was born July 12, 1958 in Canyon to LaDean and Anna Adams.  He graduated from Canyon High School.  He married Rebecca Scheffe in Amarillo on August 31, 1977 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.

Cliff worked for Paul Ingler’s Cactus Feeders for over twenty three years, retiring in July of 2015.  He enjoyed racing and football.  Cliff had many talents and passions, wood working being just one of them.  He could create, build and fix anything, especially if it was for his grandchildren.  Cliff was devoted to his wife and children he provided for them and loved them fiercely, however nothing compared to the love he had for his grandchildren.  They were his world and he delighted in them.

Cliff was preceded in death by his mother, Anna Adams; a daughter, Ashley Adams; a son, Clint Adams; a brother, Ronnie Adams and a grandson, Tyler Adams.

He is survived by his wife of almost forty years, Becky; two daughters, Lori Page and her husband Clint and Alicia Barley and her husband Cody both of Amarillo; three sons, JR Adams and wife Kim of Burleson, Andy Adams and wife Tracie of Amarillo and Rob Adams of Ft. Worth; his father LaDean Adams of Canyon; three sisters, Dianna Carlisle of Midland, Kathy Adams of Canyon, and Roxanne Vasquez of Amarillo; his two brothers, Danny and Kenneth Adams both of Canyon; by his twelve precious grandchildren;  Austin, Ashlynn, Keegan, Maxton, Becklynn, Cale, Chloe, Jasmine, Adam, Melanie, Nolan and Walyn; and by many other loving family members and friends.
