Clifford A. “Babe” Biggers, 90, of Amarillo died January 19, 2014.
Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, January 22, 2014 in Llano Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Davey officiating. Interment will be in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 South Georgia.
Babe was born October 6, 1923 in Amarillo to Clifford and Margaret Biggers. He graduated from Amarillo High School in 1941. Mr. Biggers proudly served our country in the United States Air Force. On May 28, 1944 Clifford married Audrey Jones in Amarillo. He was a 3rd generation water well driller and owned Biggers Water Well Drilling Service. Clifford enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Clifford was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Herb Biggers.
He is survived by his wife, Audrey; 4 daughters, Carol Mills and husband Phil of San Antonio, Sharon Ray and husband Rick of Amarillo, Shirley Overstreet of Springfield, MO., and Holly Cargo and husband Steve of Amarillo; a son, Herb Biggers and fiancé Laurie Camp of Amarillo; a sister , Margie Ready of Weatherford, Tx; 7 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be made to your favorite charity.
Family will receive friends from 6:00-7:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 21, 2014 in the funeral home.
