Cooper Dane Chapman, 24, of Amarillo, died Thursday, July 12, 2012.
Memorial services will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, in the auditorium of Hillside Christian Church West with Sr. Pastor Tommy Politz and Pastor Johnathan Mast officiating. Private burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia.
Cooper was born April 11, 1988 in Amarillo to Bobby and Tuesday Chapman. He graduated from Amarillo High School in 2006 and was employed by Plaska as a lineman and loved his job and his coworkers. Hunting was one of his favorite hobbies.
Cooper was loved by all who knew him and will be deeply missed.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Tuesday Carol Chapman; a brother, Cash Alan Chapman; his grandfathers, Eddie Martin and Ray Chapman; and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Pippin.
Survivors include his father, Bobby Chapman and his wife Jana, of Amarillo; a son, Brooks Benjamin Chapman of Amarillo; two sisters, Kelsey Lane Chapman of Amarillo and Tianne Nichole Yarbrough of Austin; his grandmothers, Ethel Chapman of Dumas and Rose Poulain of Amarillo; his girlfriend, Katrina Pulley and her daughter, Lily of Amarillo; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
