Curtis Lynn LaGasse, age 55 of Bushland, passed away on Saturday November 29, 2014 A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at 11:00 am at the Bushland Baptist Church with Pastor Jeff Ponder officiating. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia, Amarillo, Tx.
Curtis was born in Everett, WA on April 28, 1959. He moved to Phoenix, AZ in 1967. He married Karen LeGrand in April 1995 and moved to Bushland in 2005. He worked as a heavy equipment operator. He enjoyed his family and especially spending time with his grandchildren. His girls, Chelsea and Hailey, were the loves of his life.
He was preceded in death by his father Curtis LaGasse Sr., his step-father Steven Brennan, his brother Kyle and his two children Jennifer and Steven.
He is survived by his wife Karen LaGasse and their two girls Chelsea and Hailey, of the home; his mother, Donna Newell and his brother Craig LaGasse, both of Mesa AZ; sisters Janice Woodward and Susan Darnell, both of Chattanooga, TN; son, Curtis LaGasse and wife Danyale; daughter Kyla Hassell and husband Heath and daughter Jessi LaGasse all of Arizona . He also leaves behind 13 grandchildren all of Arizona, and a very large extended family.
