Daisy L Black

Daisy was born August 20, 1929 in Mobeetie, Texas to Roland and Lena May. She met the love of her life, William Black, who was a young airman stationed at the Amarillo Air Force Base and they married on July 3, 1946. She was the matriarch of the family and always showed true love and kindness to all. She had unwavering faith in and love for the Lord Jesus, and spent the time to help many others to seek and find Him. She was a long-time member of Trinity Fellowship Church, volunteering at Bethesda Outreach Center and Loaves and Fishes Ministry. She was a faithful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will never be forgotten and will always be cherished in our hearts.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Black, Sr. on July 11, 2005; three brothers, three sisters and her parents.
She is survived by two daughters, Karen Williams and husband Mike of Edna Bay, Alaska and Mary Rickwartz and husband Ken of Amarillo; two sons, Victor Black and wife Machelle and William Black, Jr and wife Sandra both of Amarillo; one sister, Mavis Ludwig of Corpus Christi, Tx; one brother, Kenneth May of Bettendorf, Iowa; fourteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
