Dama Miller, 89, of Amarillo passed away Sunday, February 28,2016.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 P M Thursday, March 3, 2016 at Schooler Funeral Home, Brentwood Chapel with Rev. Glen Walton as officiant. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 South Georgia.
Dama was born in Elmwood, OK to Robert and Annie Fish on December 14, 1926 during a snow storm. The Doctor arrived late so her father delivered her. She was brought up in a large family and they shared many good times. Dama married Ural Miller on August 28, 1943. They were married for 54 years and had 5 daughters. She was a homemaker and her husband taught the Bible throughout the United States. She was a member of North Amarillo Church of Christ. Dama enjoyed writing poetry and shared them in book form for her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ural; and two daughters, Yvonne Webb and Brenda Miller.
Her survivors include her three daughters, Connie Barr and her husband Sheldon of Oklahoma City; Linda Wilkins and her husband Jim and Nelma Lemaster all of Amarillo; her sister Minnie Clements of Amarillo; seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
