Dana Guyette passed away, June 11, 2015, in Lubbock.
Dana Karl Guyette of Lubbock, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 48 on Thursday, June 11, 2015. Memorial services will be held on Monday July 6th at 7:30 pm at Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia in Amarillo with the Rev. Charles Davenport officiating. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home.
Dana was born on August 30, 1966 in Amarillo and although he lived in various places across the state of Texas he always considered Amarillo his home. He worked as a self-employed painter/contractor throughout most of his life. Dana had a huge heart and was one of the most giving people God placed on this earth. He loved God, his family, his many friends and his precious pets. He will be dearly missed by all those who were touched by his life.
Dana was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Tina Snyder in 2011. Survivors include his father, Karl Guyette of Amarillo; two sisters, Tammy Scarbrough and husband Harold of Amarillo and Shannon Mead-Sampson of Ardmore, OK; three brothers, Kerry Guyette and wife Becky of Amarillo, Michael Mead and wife Michelle of Chandler, TX, and Matt Mead and wife Jessica of Playa Vista, CA. He is also survived by his fiancé, Carol Pruitt of Lubbock, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
