Funeral Service will be Thursday, December 22, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Schooler Funeral Home~Brentwood Chapel with Rev. Chris Robeson officiating. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Wednesday December 21 from 6-7 PM. Burial will be at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 South Georgia.
Nisha was born February 4, 1965 in Albuquerque to Ronald Odell and Patsy Madole Odell. She was a barrel racer from the age of 13 until 2008. Horses were always an important part of Nisha’s life and she always had one that she was in love with. The joy of her life was her daughter, Amy. Nisha considered it a blessing from God that she was allowed to be Amy’s mother. Nisha lived her life as a kind hearted, sweet, generous person. She often took in stray dogs and cats and they were like children to her. Her home and her heart were always open to anyone in need. She loved life and had a strong love for the Lord.
Nisha was preceded in death by her grandfathers, W.C. Odell and Wyman Madole.
She is survived by her precious daughter, Amy Ballew and her husband, Eric of Waco; her parents, Ron and Patsy Odell of Amarillo; her sister, Michele Daniels and husband Robert of South Fork, Co; her fiancé, Robby Soehnge of Amarillo; her grandmothers, Mary Odell and Hazel Madole; one niece, nephews, cousins, aunts & uncles and Lady, her black lab. She will be greatly missed by all that loved her.
