David Michael Powell

Memorial services will be at 11:00 am, Monday, November 19, at Schooler Funeral Home Brentwood Chapel, with Rev. Corky Holland officiating. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia.
David Michael Powell, 52 went to be with The Lord on November 11, 2012. David was born on April 25, 1960 to Michael and Kay Powell in Amarillo. David attended and was baptized at First Baptist Church in Amarillo. David attended Amarillo Schools throughout his education. In his adult life David worked mainly as Press Printer.
To his family, David showed great strength, courage, trust and faith in his last few months. He knew what he was facing and trusted in the Lord. David knew he would be with his Lord Savior, and that his Mother would be standing beside our Lord, waiting for him to return home.
David was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Kay Powell, his grandparents Edison and Eureka Powell, Fred and Vadis Bledsoe.
Survivors include his father Michael and Anne Powell; a brother Patrick Powell and wife Becky; three nephews James Powell, Brandon Webb, and Michael Webb; a great niece, Marlee Webb all of Amarillo; an Uncle Jack Powell of The Woodlands, Houston. Special extended family members, Keith and Neva Blair, Gloria Platts, Branch Reid, Celeste and Bill Couture, Shannon and Jack Caldwell, all of Amarillo.
